Instructions
- Research the different phases of the moon and familiarize yourself with their appearance.
- Observe the moon each night for a full lunar month (approximately 29.5 days).
- Document the appearance of the moon each night in your notebook. Sketch the moon if a camera is not available.
- Note the date, time, and weather conditions each evening.
- Compare your observations with a lunar calendar to verify the phases.
- Analyze the pattern of the moon’s phases and how they repeat over time.
- Present your findings in a report, including drawings or photographs, along with an explanation of the moon’s phases.
